10in x 12in .025 metal with 1/8in mounting holes and 1/4in rounded corners.  Featuring Flags of the Confederacy from the first Stars & Bars to the final flag approved on March 4, 1865, just before the surrender on April 9, 1865. There were three National Flags and one Battle Flag, which also served as the Navy Jack. The Battle Flag was the soldiers favorite, yet was never officially adopted by the Confederate Government. The first flag resembled the U.S. Flag and was abandoned when Rebel troops fired on it by mistake. The Stainless Banner with a solid white fly became the National emblem in 1863, but soldiers thought it resembled a flag of truce or surrender so a red bar was added to the fly and adopted in 1865. Very colorful and informative metal sign.  Confederate Flags coffee mugs also available.   What the Battle Flag represented: The red field represents the blood of Chirst. The White border represents the protection of God. The blue cross represents the Christian Cross of Saint Andrew, the first Disciple of Christ Jesus and Patron Saint of Scotland. The 13 stars represent the 13 Southern States of secession. Click on above image for zoom.
